It's Always Tea Time

I absolutely love all things girly and pink and sparkly. So when I stumbled upon this tea set at Goodwill I nabbed it. I will take an excuse to have a party and now I had a reason to have a girly high tea.

Tweedlee Dee

I absolutely love tweed. It's one of those fabrics where I instantly feel like an adult when I wear it. I initially bought this jacket to wear to work in the fall but it is so gorgeous I just couldn't wait!

Truro Vineyards

One of my good friends invited me to join her on the Cape for a few days. How could I say no to a condo on the beach with my bestie? You can't, just try. We started off the trip with a tasting at Truro Vineyards. Make sure you try the cranberry red! By far my favorite and it comes in an adorable lighthouse shaped bottle.

Summer Reading

I visited my alma mater Mount Holyoke College recently. Years after graduating the library is still one of my favorite places ever. It is full of secret reading nooks and I miss the days of searching the stacks for interesting history books or just sipping tea in the reference room.

Whoever Said Orange was the New Pink...

I absolutely love Legally Blonde. It was/is one of my all time favorite movies and I could watch it on repeat. In honor of the 15th anniversary of the movie's release I wore the brightest item of clothing I had and embraced all that is pink and blonde.

Patriotic BBQ

I absolutely love any excuse to throw a party. This past weekend was Sailfest over in New London which means Saturday night was the big fireworks display along the Thames River. So before we all walked down to the fireworks, we filled up on burgers, dogs, and watermelon mojitos.

Highland Light

Highland Light was the very first lighthouse built on Cape Code. It also happens to be an ideal spot to catch a sunset. This Draper James jacket is a fun twist on a classic tweed. I love it paired with this lightweight navy dress but I imagine it will get a lot of wear in the fall with jeans or pencil skirts.
