Blueberry Lemonade

Cheers! It's finally the weekend and I managed to survive my first week at internship unscathed. So I'm celebrating with a fun cocktail I created.

I'm a huge fan of blueberries (T jokes I will turn into one). So when my soon to be mother in law dropped off a ton of blueberries from her garden I was inspired to make my own blueberry infused vodka.

Ingredients
Blueberry Vodka (homemade or store bought)
Fresh Blueberries
Lemon
Simple Syrup
Seltzer
Rosemary for garnish

To make your own vodka, simply take your favorite brand (I love Ocean Organic), add blueberries, and leave it in your fridge for about a week or two depending on how intense of a flavor you want. After some time, it took on a pretty purple color. I 100% recommend you try this at some point because you will never want to drink anything else.

Steps:
1) The first step is to muddle some fresh blueberries in the bottom of your glass, then top with ice.
2) Next, in a shaker squeeze the juice of one lemon.
3) Add about half a shot of simple syrup (I make mine with equal parts water and honey)
4) Add 2 shots of blueberry vodka
5) Give it a shake
6) Split between two super cute gold rimmed glasses
7) Top off with seltzer
8) Garnish with fresh blueberries, rosemary, and paper straws
9) Enjoy!
